Real stories, really accessible.
Advance is a 35 year old charitable organisation, which helps people with learning disabilities or mental health problems live the lives they want in the community.
Advance turned to Reuben Internet for help and inspiration to find a new way to communicate with their diverse and complex target audiences, often with demanding accessibility needs.
With this in mind, we saw the perfect opportunity to exploit video, but not for gimmick or effect, but to:
- Show that Advance is 100% about the people it helps
- Find a new way to address the accessibility issue;
If you can't see it, you can hear it, if you can't hear it, you can read it, if you can't read it, you can watch it.
Using the people who have changed their lives with Advance's help tell their own story, we produced over 50 videos for the site with subtitles and Makaton sign language, truly a first.
Key project disciplines: Design, Build, Video, Content Management, e-CRM, Hosting Infrastructure.
